Mjaerumhogda was started in 1967 by Grete-Sofie and Eivind Mjaerum.

The kennel was founded on samojed. Mjaerumhogda kennel have had goldens since 1972. Shiba was the next that was added in 1992. Not until 1998 we raised Norsk Elghund, - though Eivind grew up with this race. 

Up till now Mjaerumhogda has bred 58 golden champions.

From the beginning we concentrated on health, temperament and capacity for work. As a dog for breeding, exterior features should be of CK quality.
